America, Where Have You Gone?

I just recently celebrated my 23rd birthday. During the last 23 years, I never imagined that America would be plagued by idealistic turmoil to the extent that we are facing today. Congress, and all of their wisdom, has systematically taken away our Constitutional Rights, and civil unrest grows closer to reality as each day goes by. Our President alienates our only true ally, Israel, and bows to the Saudis. Mr. President, why do you worry about homes being built in Jerusalem, but ignore Iran's nuclear ambitions? I do not question your birth place, but I question your loyalty sir! Why did you swear to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States when you yourself said it was a flawed document? I do not place the blame on the President, or on Congress; It is all of ours! America is more intrigued with American Idol instead of American Politics. It is a sad day for our Republic when more people vote for the American Idol than they do for the Presidency. Our culture has been infected and is extremely commercialized to the point where we have no true identity. With our faces glued to anything with a translucent screen, robbers came in and stole what it was to be an American! Our youth haven't got a clue on failure because they were taught as long as you had fun, everyone is a winner. They know no hope, faith, or charity. We have raised our children to become sheep, and they do whatever MTV tells them to do. A lost misinformed young sheep once told me that he liked Obama because he had a tapered hair cut just like him. They support whoever P Diddy or Puffy, whatever he goes by these days, tells them to. They are glued to Youtube where there you can find a commercial with all of todays popular celebrities pledging to serve not their country, not God, not the Constitution, but Barack Obama! So I ask you, Where has America gone?
